burning buddhas
buddhist dogma would not have it that you transmigrate to a lower being
upon death by suicide.  honorable suicides by fire were practiced by
buddhist monks in vietnam, for instance.  my own feeling is that a good
number of suicides bring forth enlightenment, hence nirvana.  but before
you jump on the spur of the moment, consider that you will have lots of
chances in future lives so maybe you can try the hard way (sitting) this
time?
