Shuttle News
Engineers, from photographic inspections of the shuttle, now say
that 25 tiles are missing and 12 are damaged.  However, they expect
no safety factor, since they are in areas that do not get the
full heat of re-entry.  Meanwhile, aboard the shuttle, some arm
experiments were canceled because of a short in the wrist camera.
Others will be carried out by Gordon Fullerton, and he will have
to look at the scientific packages he grabs with binoculars.

The two SRB's were towed into Port Canaveral, last night, on schedule.
They will be cleaned and disassembled and then shipped back to their
manufacturer for refurbishment, costing $10 million, vs. $25 million
for a new pair.
