Re: Anybody here?
Yep, we are there. As the MIT version of SF-LOVERS seems to have
died (my understanding is that the system administrators cracked down on them),
and as I do miss the sometimes twice a day digest, I think it would be fun to
at least attempt a news group. Therefore, let me be the first to answer a
previous question.
Bladerunner is a movie based on Phlip K. Dick's novel "Do Androids
dream of Electric Sheep?". I read an early version of the script, and wasn't
too impressed with it, but I have heard that there was a major rewrite afterward.
Phil Dick is said to have liked the final script, so I certainly plan to go
and see it.
Now for my question, did anybody out there see the preview for
either "Conan", or something called "The Sword and the Sorcerer"? I
missed both of them, and would be curious if anybody who saw them could
discuss them in a general form.
