grain in color film
According to the data I've seen, Kodacolor II is supposed to be the
finest grained color film, with Kodachrome 25 and 64 coming in close
second and third.  The new Kodachrome 200, developed for the new
disk cameras, is supposed to be even better; it needs to be, since
the negative size is smaller than 110. I would love to see it in 35mm.

I am a strong partisan of Kodachrome 64, because of its excellent color,
grain, longevity, and because I like slides.

Modern photography compares color films every year, and also did a grain
comparison not too long ago; check your library.  All the photo magazines
are hot on the subject of longevity, so there has been a lot published,
and there will be a lot more.
