Leitz RT-300 Projector
This slide projector has previously sold for $400-500, and is now
being widely advertised for $300 or thereabouts in the large New
York camera stores.  I bought one recently.  It is a gem.  It takes
Carousel trays and accessories, including the stack loader.  It comes
with a 90mm f/2.5 curved field lens, which, when used with cardboard-
mounted slides, gives images that are normally sharp corner to corner.
The image is amazingly bright and very evenly illuminated.  The colors
do not have the green cast associated with many projectors, because
there is no heat absorbing filter between the lamp and the lens.
Nevertheless the slides stay cool enough that they don't pop.
Considering that a top-of-the-line Carousel projector will set you
back about $260, with lens, this machine is a bargain.
