You're wrong.  Notesfiles' proponents will gain some insight into the
interface problems between notes and netnews by using the notes system.

I'm a little disapointed that 'angry waves of protest' are what I see
rather than constructive critisism.  I don't know how to write netnews
compatable headers that won't be misinterpreted by netnews.  I'ld
appreciate some suggestions.  As we've seen with mail, netnews is
composed of 'sendnews' and 'readnews'.  As more obnoxious headers are
produced by mail and news sending systems, more sophisticated reader
programs are required to strip out the unsightly but necessary transmission
information.  I don't think we can expect another sender to interface
to the system without some cooperation from the existing system.  I
also don't expect that changes ought to be made to netnews until the
notesfile stuff has been evaluated and has evolved based on its overall
merit, not on nitpicking.
