Well, I think it is a moot point.  What is the charter of this network?
Is it \\informal//?  Is it officially for exchanging UNIX ideas?  What?
Perhaps the way to answer Bill's survey is by post (U.S. Snail or Post
Canada or using international reply coupons).  I am inclined to agree
that the net should be used for \\news// and not for \\research//, marketing
or otherwise.  Especially not otherwise.
