BOF sessions at USENIX

       This note is in response to the net-general request for a list of
topics for discussion at USENIX.

       Here's how the BOF sessions will work at USENIX, this time: there
will be a DECUS-style poster listing all the times and rooms available for
BOF sessions.  There will be a signup procedure where you sign up for a
room and time, listing your name and the topic.  The only restriction is
that vendor-specific vendor-sponsored sessions are a no-no (exhibit space
is rented).  Naturally, space is limited; it may be necessary for folks
to donate their hotel rooms for even more informal gatherings if there
are more requests than there are meeting rooms.

       I did it this way, rather than allowing advance signup, as a last
gesture toward informality at USENIX.
