Suggested readnews enhancement
I'd like to suggest a possible format to make readnews more "readable"
and user-oriented:
       Upon typing readnews, the user is presented with the names of
those newsgroups whom he/she has pending news from, in menu form.
The user types the name of the newsgroup he/she is interested in, and
then he/she is presented with a list of the titles of the newsitems in
that newsgroup. One should also be able to move around in the different
menu "levels".
       Perhaps a structure like this would make it easier to deal with
the overwhelming amount of news one can get (even after optioning-out
most of it in the .newsrc file)
