In response to Mark's suggestion for more newsgroups, I agree.  But let's
try to keep them all together:

       net.usenet              general stuff
       net.usenet.news         stuff about news
       net.usenet.bnews        stuff about beta news
       net.usenet.site         new sites (staying away from "newsite", which
                               would show up as "net.usenet.news" in a direc-
                               tory listing
       net.usenet.map          the map
       net.usenet.dir          the directory

Of course, these names could be shortened, if we cared to abbreviate USENET
(maybe to "un"? -- net.un.news)
