Most of the sites here at Bell Labs - Indian Hill are running netnews
without benefit of super-user collaboration or even approval, and thus
are not in a position to establish special login names easily.
In addition, I wonder how often it is necessary to contact a site
coordinator outside of the following two cases:
- You are trying to contact the coordinator at a neighboring site. For
most sites, it is pretty easy to keep track of exactly who this is.
- You are sending something to the coordinators for a large number of sites.
For this, just use net.news.
I think the idea of a standard method of contacting Usenet site coordinators
is possibly a good one, but we should be aware of what we expect to gain by
it, as well as figure out what to do with those who can't or won't conform.
