USENET at USENIX
I have the results of a mini survey of possible USENET topics. Please
mail me more and I will add them to a "possible" working document for
the conference.

You will no doubt understand the impossibility of "holding" USENET
elections over the net. Look how long it took the USENIX people to
sort out it's elective process (I here quite a bit of grumbling about
it even still). I hope the meeting this January will be oriented toward
researching the problems and not towards forcing asome kind of false
authority.

However, you can't expect everyone to be present. Feel good that a large
number of people from the net will probably show because they are going
to USENIX anyway.

I was planning on organizing a report on the  meeting for the benifit
of USENET listeners, can this be enough to calm your fears?
