The current code will interpret a subscription to "net.jokes" as including
"net.jokes.all".  There are no plans to change this, and even if it is
changed, there will be sites continuing to run the old software.

If you get net.jokes or all, and you don't want net.jokes.q, you will
have to specifically unsubscribe to it.  Thus:
       options -n ..... !net.jokes.q .....
Unfortunately, this does not protect you from things like net.joke.q,
nor from stuff posted to other newsgroups like net.general that has
something in bad taste in it.
