More on the rectitude of net.jokes.q
Those of us north of the border will have to remember the wierd affirmative
action stuff that you south of the border have.  Here, in Ontario anyway,
we have some rather mild obscenity laws, but quite strong opinions in
the body of common law dealing with minority rights as well as an standing
bill of rights (passed somewhere around 1967) plus a new set of goodies
that will probably be enacted around July 1, 1982 when our 'new' Constitution
comes home from Westminister.
Also, most of the 'minority' groups in the U.S. are as large as the
entire population of Canada, so if it comes to the greatest good for the
greatest number ...
By the way, I happen to be a World Federalist (that's not a label for
any front organization that I am aware of).  Anybody else think that the
global village is getting to small for the kind of sabre rattling we have
been hearing lately?
