A word against net.lang.french,  net.lang.spanish, and other "natural
language" newsgroups: What will their contents be?  Articles in the language
(french or spanish)?  If so, surely we will then see "net.lang.french.sport",
"net.lang.spanish.followup", and so forth.  If people want to post
stuff to the net in languages other than english), why not post them to
the appropriate newsgroup.

On the other hand, if these groups are to be about those langauges,
how about some trials in net.misc first?  A lot of potential newsgroups
die once a few people get tired of chewing fat.
