motor sport subgroup


       Is there any interest out there for a group to report
       motor sport results, and generally discuss the subject?

       Special emphasis would be placed on international motor
       sports, particularly World Championship Rallying and
       Formula One motor racing, since these are particularly
       hard to track down in the news media.

       As a tit-bit here are the results of the 50th Monte Carlo
       Rally, first round of the 1982 World Championship:

       1. Walter Rohrl/Christian Geistdorfer(D)         Opel Ascona 400
       2. Hannu Mikkola/Arne Hertz(SF)                  Audi Quattro
       3. Jean-Luc Therier/Michel Vial(F)               Porsche 911SC
       4. Guy Frequelin/Jean-Francois Fauchille(F)      Porsche 911SC
