I just received the following message from one of our news users.  Perhaps
someone out there can enlighten us as to the proper date format?

How about putting an example of a date format that works into the manual
page for inews?  I certain don't plan to ever bother trying to use that
feature again unless it is made easier for me.  Barfing and ignoring
your news due to parsing problems on the expiration date only after you
have terminated the whole news message seems like another example of
abysmal human engineering in UNIX.
