possible bug in -M option to readnews

I'm not sure if this is a bug, or if it were intended, but when you
use the mail option (-M) with readnews, the field "Article-ID", which
should contain a string of the form site.sequencenumber (i.e., purdue.210),
contains instead the path name of the file containing the article being
printed with the "/usr/spool/news" stripped off (i.e., net.news.b/28).
Seems to me this is a bug, but I don't know if it's in the news or Mail
(the latter, I suspect.)  Mark, do you know about this? Is it a bug?
