I guess it isn't obvious, but the version of netnews is taken to be the
version of control.c.  The complete sources posted were 2.1, the first
diff made that into 2.2 (but since it wasn't deltaed in before distribution,
it looked like 2.1++) and the second diff made it 2.3.  So two diffs and
the original source make a complete, current set of sources.
