how to lose .newsrc
1) type news
2) decide you don't mean it, and hit delete
3) when readnews gives you a header and asks (ynq), decide that it
catches interrupts, and type q
4) realize that your delete caused news to skip reading .newsrc,
but that your q told news to rewrite .newsrc; you should've hit x,
which you've never before thought about.
5) write to net.news.b and suggest that readnews should keep track
of whether .newsrc was successfully read.
