Hovhaness piano works

Is there anyone out there who has some familiarity with the piano
works, solo or otherwise, of Alan Hovhaness (from either a
performance or listening perspective)?  I am doing some preliminary
research in preparation for a recital next year, and am interested in
pointers towards recordings of or writings about his piano works.
Judging from Schwann, there seem to be few of them on disc.  I am
currently leaning towards the following:  Three Preludes and Fugues,
Op. 10; Sonata, Op. 145; Poseidon Sonata, Op. 191.  I have not,
however, heard any of these except from my own sight reading, and I am
relying on the only overview I've found, the Hinson article in the
January, 1967, American Music Teacher.  Anybody know of any
information I haven't stumbled upon -- or have any favorite Hovhaness
peice(s) that I may have overlooked?
