Pat Metheny query
I bought the Pat Metheny / Lyle Mays album "As Falls Wichita, so Falls
Wichita Falls" on a friend's recommendation, and like it very much (though
the first side gets less interesting after a while). Expecting more of the
same, I bought Metheny's "80/81", but it is mostly traditional jazz, and
"Pat Metheny Group", which is not quite as good a "Wichita".
1. What kind of music is "Wichita"? Does it have a generic name, besides just
  being "a kind of jazz"?
2. Are there other Metheny albums like "Wichita"?
3. Can you folks suggest other musicians who play this sort of stuff?
