Re: Music to Code/Design by
Actually, I find that any music I don't hate is fine background.  When
I'm really working the music becomes something to ignore, forcing me
to concentrate.  Even when I put on an albumn of music I really love,
I sometimes get going on the code, and come up for air (so to speak)
a while later and realize that the record's been over for quite a while.
Of course, this only happens when life is cooking.  When I'm just coding,
I try and find things that I enjoy (Vangelis, Yes, The Who, Jethro Tull,
UK), but not something I love (Genesis, Jackson Browne, etc.) or I get
distracted by it.

P.S.  Radio is often fine, but I can get a whole thought train destroyed
by a shitty song (Rod Stewart, say), so it can be dangerous...
