MR Sup_R_Fan problems

I have noticed two problems with the M&R Sup'R'Fan
when using it with an Apple II plus.

1.  The Sup'R'Fan when used with both my Zenith and
NEC monitors causes the video to slowly wave
back and forth when using the Videx 80-column
card.  I suspect the problem is that the ac
motor is generating a field that affect these
monitors.  I tried a piece of aluminum foil
between the monitors and the Apple
but this did not solve the problem.

2.  If one installs the Videx softswitch with a
Videx 80-column card, there is nolonger any
room to fit the Super'R'Fan along side the
   Apple's motherboard.

If anyone has a solution to either of these problems
I would appreciate some help in solving them.
