micro-sci makes a floppy drive which they claim is compatible with dos 3.2, 3.3, and pascal, and which stores 280k by writing 70 tracks/disk. access time is claimed to be much faster than standard apple drives as well.
 the drive lists (as of 4/1/81) for 699 w/ controller.
