OASIS query

Oasis is not a Unix like operating system.  It is a traditional
DEC mini-computer style OS for micros.  It draws a lot from the
concepts of RT-11.  It seems very well put together.

The whole thing, utilities and all, is written by one person,
Tim Williams.  The documentation is done by his brother Chris.

Tim works for himself but is part owner, along with
Howard Sidorsky and Chris Langewis, of the distributor
       /maintainer of Oasis which is:

               Phase One Systems
               7700 Edgewater Drive
               Oakland CA 94621

               (415) 562-8085

There are currently two versions. The first is for the Z80
and requires bank switched memory.  It is written in Z80
assembler.  The second is for the 8086 (currently) and is
written in C.  Versions for the Z8000 and 68000 will follow
soon, in that order. US retail price is in the neighbourhood
of $1500 for a single copy.
