Rest assured, no division by zero is used in the bogus sqrt(i) proof.
It is astounding how long this one fools people.  If you simply go back
to the axioms of complex numbers, you will recall that to divide two complex
numbers, the action is not simple.  Thus the fact that f(a/b) = f(a)/f(b)
in the real numbers does not imply the fact in the complex numbers, only in
a subset of them.
