Re: Newcombe's Paradox
Although Bill Stewart presents the obvious compelling logical argument
for choosing both boxes, the fact remains that those who follow that
argument don't get the million dollars, while those who act "illogically"
almost invariably do.  I, for one, would choose only box B.  The whole
paradox seems to raise the questions:  Is the universe logical?  Is it
deterministic?  If so, is it logical and deterministic in the way we
think it is?  (Here we go into net.theology again...)
