One of the real problems we have been experiencing is the failure of the
2.14 software to completely deliver the last stuff sent by the host just
before it puts dtr down.  We have arranged one of our machines to send
out certain control sequences on a disconnect.  The data are sent to the
t-box but the localnet is far to busy putting out the closed session
message to send our final stuff.  To put a delay in the dropping of dtr
is a big job on this particular system (not UNIX) and we don't feel that
we should have to do so.  The t-box firmware should not scrap data just
because the line is being dropped.  This stuff needs to be done in the
proper sequence.  Grrrrr.
