Well, I'd like to put my $.02 back into the net, this time
under more clarity.  I happen to be Jewish (**VERY** Reformed)
and Polish and damn proud of it.  THAT's why I never get upset
at jokes made about Jews and/or Poles, as long as they are made
with no predujice intent in mind; if they were meant to be funny
and to entertain, then it's perfectly alright.  There are some
punchlines that rely on the victim being a member of a certain
ethnic group (e.g. Martians don't tip??)  However, if a person
makes a joke like that in order to be predujice, then I want
no part of it; how do you tell the intent of a joke?  I don't
know if it's possible in this sort of environment, but I have not
run across any people like that so far.
