bad jokes on the net
Some of the jokes submitted to net.jokes.q have been
in fairly poor taste, and I wish that people would
clean up their act a little.  But I don't think that
having your boss breathing down your neck saying
"I'm paying phone bills for dirty jokes?" is a good
reason to stop them.  If your boss objects (or even
MIGHT object) to dirty jokes, just turn them off in
your .ngfile, and he/she will never see them.  GOSH!
If you have this much trouble solving simple problems,
no wonder your boss is breathing down your neck.

Now kiddies, a simple way to tell if a joke is unsuitable
(in my opinion) is if it depends upon some prejudiced
or offensive remark about some particular group for its
punchline.  This clearly includes the joke about jews
not tipping, or the german oven jokes.  And some of the
dead baby jokes, really now.  Not that I mind dead baby
jokes, but some people seem to think that any joke with
a dead baby in it is funny.  Makes me wonder about computer
people...
