To: All radio amateurs

Starting October 23, 1981 United States amateurs will no longer be
required to give the call sign of the station with which they are in contact
unless international third party traffic is being handled.
Furthermore, there will no longer be a requirement to identify your station
at the beginning of a transmission so long as you identify your station at
the end of the transmission or series of transmissions and at least once
each ten minutes during the communications.
