Bill Shannon Leaving?
It is with great sorrow that I officially announce the following:
Bill Shannon, decvax!shannon, will be leaving the Digital Equipment Corp
UNIX Engineering Group after 17 months of excelent service to both
DEC, the UEG and the community in general.  Bill and his wife Karen will
be going to California to find the fortune in the SUN.  He will be
joining SUN Micro Systems, along with Bill Joy.  (It is rumored that
SUN will be changing its name to Bill Micro Systems!)

He and his wife will be missed be the rest of us at UEG.  We wish
him well.
