Loglan
Loglan is a synthetic language designed to attempt  to  test  the
Sapir-Whorf  hypothesis  that  the  language  used to think about
things will alter or  limit  the  thought.   It  is  basically  a
grammar  that  provides  a  verbal  form of first order predicate
calculus, and has ( or attempts to  have  )  a  grammar  that  is
context free down to the phoneme level.  This makes it quite easy
to parse, and I understand that considerable work on the  grammar
has been done using the Yacc parser generator.

There are five volumes that describe  the  history,  development,
and current state of the language, titled Loglan 1-5.

There is also (or at least until recently was) an  active  Loglan
organisation, complete with a major journal, The Loglanist, and a
newsletter, Le Logla Cmata.  I can dig the address of the  Loglan
Institute  up  if  people  are interested in joining.  Interested
parties can contact me.
