Foobar
FUBAR (alias foobar) is an acronym dating to at least to WW II
which stands for (in it's clean version) Fouled Up But All Right.
Everyone knows of its sibling SNAFU (Situation Normal, All
Fouled UP).  Both terms supposedly originated about the same
time.  Whether foobar means the same thing in UNIX documentation,
I can't say.
