Re: Long .newsrc file followup
Kirk Smith tells about a file full of n's and ended by a q.
The effect can more easily be accomplished by saying:
       readnews -p > /dev/null
This will print out all the news items without asking for a 'ynq'
and throws them all away (/dev/null).  It will record that you have
read everything that goes by.  This way you don't make (or keep)
a file full of n's and you don't waist time reading from that
file, you just waist time outputing the news items.
