There are really only a couple of companies making VCR's.
Matshushita makes for RCA, Panasonic, Quasar, Magnavox,
J C Penney, and some others.  JVC another manufacturer
of VHS, selling through JVC as well as Kenwood and others.
I don't know who makes what for Beta, although Sony does
a lot there.  In general, VHS seems to be "the peoples chhoice",
with more features for the same price.  Th
