"TED" a Unix editor.
I am sending this message again, (I sent it a few months ago,
 and got no response).
I wrote a mutant version of Unix 'ed' called 'Ted'. This
 version of the editor was written with the user in mind,
 it has MUCH better error messages, it has an editor profile
 facility, it can recover buffers after a system crash, it
 allows autosaving, and has user-specifiable prompts. There
 are a number of other features as well.
The program will run under either V6 or V7 (I havent tried
 VAX UNIX).



There is a small charge of $50 (to cover handling and the
 cost of the tape).
If you are interested, send me a xerox of your Unix license,
  and specify what density an format (TAR or TP) you require
  the tape be in.
