letter quality printers

We will soon be getting a "letter quality printer" and I'm
interested in people's experiences with such things as
HyTerms, Qumes, NECs, etc.  Important factors include:

       1. Functionality
       2. Reliability
       3. Price
       4. Speed

Any information on specific printers, or any comments on
what to look for / look out for, would be greatly appreciated.
