Arrrrghhh No!
Well, I finally did it.  I get this week's prize for the most
heart-breaking rogue game.  On level 2 I found a scroll --- the
scroll of genocide!  i kill off all the umber hulks...and hope that
a centaur doesnt kill me before i get deadly.  I find +2 plate mail,
a +something, + a whole lot more, 2 handed sword.  (kills centaurs in
one blow, yeti in two).  By this time i am on level seven and feeling
quite happy with myself.  I find a wand of drain life, and one of cold,
and one of teleport away.  (I'm sitting pretty.)  Then I find ANOTHER
SCROLL OF GENOCIDE!!! At this point I'm confused... killing Xorn seems
a pretty good idea, but then those RM are murder on armor...Wraiths can
do nasty things...a dragon can kill you easily too...I decide to wait and
genocide a monster that is killing me.  I also was interested in seeing if
i could win the game and take the scroll of genocide out...i wonder what
it's worth..in real life a scroll which could kill all criminals, mother-in-lawsdec service repairmen, lousy tape drive manufacturers, IBM Customer Service
Representatives (or are they included in criminals??) would be worth a lot
of cash.  (Doesn't sound too bad?? wait...) I am merrily killing Invisible
Stalkers...(my unknown ring was  a see invisible) when i fall into a
sleeping gas trap and sleep until...WHAM!WHAM!WHAM a Zombie kills me!
                                       In anguish,
                                         toad terrific,

                                               decvax!utzoo!laura

(actually it was more like WHAM!miss(oh please let me get up)WHAM!(oplmgu)WHAM!
                               miss(oplmgu)WHAM!!
