202 dataset query

This question should probably be in a 'history of datacomm' newsgroup, but....

On a 202 type modem, 2-wire application, what are the appropriate signals when
a 'break' is sent, both on the eia control leads and on pin 2 (xmit data)??

should both secondary rts be raised and then the 200 msec. space after cts is
raised?  If the 200 msec. break is not sent on pin 2, how is the host made aware
of the break?

Thanks for any help you can give.
