Concerning the note about D.I.P. switch 2 on 9114 slims.....

We found (after rather extensive problems) that the timeout option had to
be disabled on ports for ANY version of the software which looked for a
DTR toggle before reconnect.  The reason was that the timer is in the circuitry
logically at a place such that if a new connection did not come along
before the timeout period expired, the slim "forgot" that it had seen
DTR toggle and wanted it to toggle again.

(We are in the process of trying to obtain a price from Develcon so that
we may upgrade to version 4.  Anybody have this up and running?  Comments?)
