net.columbia lives, but under what name?
I am all for keeping net.columbia around, but it should follow the
hierarchy of newsgroup names.  This group is not at all strictly about
the columbia, or even the STS, so there is a misnomer.

I suggest two things be done:

1) Check with the fellow at SRI-UNIX who has arranged the link between
net.space and SPACE@MIT-MC that the introduction of a subgroup under net.space
would be handled properly there.
(ie. we may want the subgroups to be sent, or not want them to be sent,
or want them to be sent selectively)

2) Once that is cleared away, abandon net.columbia for net.space.news
(I REFUSE to argue about the name - I have had enough of that elsewhere)

I suspect we would want net.space.news fed into the SPACE DIGEST, but
that's up to whoever runs that.  Once he/she clears it, I say we go
ahead with this.
