Space program news
In today's (Tuesday's) Science Times section of the New York
Times, starting on page 1, is an article about the space
telescope.  It is too large for me to summarize entirely
here, but it did say that it was well on schedule for completion
in 1983 and launching in the first three months of 1985.
Control will be from Goddard Space Flight Center.

At the end was another article, with a report that the
28 December, 1981 (remember then?) issue of AW&ST reported
that the Galileo project had been reinstated for fiscal
1983.  I do not get the magazine and am only saying what
the paper said.  Whatever happened to the AW&ST summaries
anyway?  I enjoyed them!
