space walk
Plans for the first shuttle space walk, now scheduled for 1983,
include the astronaut being propelled by a jet power pack to
the Solar Maximum satellite, bringing it back, repairing it, and
putting it back into orbit.  Solar Max, the first satellite to
be built with the RMS grappler, had blown three fuses and is
thus too unstable for the arm.  An astronaut will fly out there,
steady it will a pole, and then the RMS can take it in, where
it will be repaired.  The arm will then take it back out and
put it into proper orbit.
