STS-3
A crewmember for STS-3 said that NASA was planning an
extravehicular activity, namely a spacewalk, for the
next mission, but later tones that down by saying that
it was only in the ``dream stage.''  Officials were
working out rules for such an EVA but none is currently
planned.  A crew for STS-3 will be announced after Engle's
and Truly's press conference, next week.  For the third
flight, Canadarm will perform its first test with an
object by grabbing an instrument that will scan the cargo
bay for gases and other pollutants and then putting it down
and letting go.
