Dial-a-Shuttle Service
Ma Bell and NASA are planning 900 Dial-It service that will enable callers
to listen in on the voice communications channel between the ground command
center and the space shuttle Columbia when it makes its second flight.

This service will be provided to test the mass "barge-in" technology of
the No. 4 ESS offices that form the backbone of the 900 Dial-It network.
