NEW LAUNCH DATE
Repairs are almost done, and with that, officials have set
4 November as the new launch date for the Columbia.  As of
this morning, 340 tiles were back in place.

After this, two more test flights are planned, with hopes
of the first satellite carrying mission in September, 1982.

On this flight, a 50-foot mechanical arm, made in Canada,
will be extended and instruments that will survey the
Earth's resources will be operated.
