code to play opening book
I'm looking for code (preferably in a high-level language, but
assembly language will do) which implements tree-structured opening
"books" with transpositions. I'm don't want the book itself, just the
code and a reasonably complete description of the format of the book it
parses.

If you have or know of such a creature, please contact me.
