We are running UNIX 4.1bsd here on a VAX 11/750 with a Versatec V80
printer/plotter.  I have had requests for information on the Berkeley
apl running on this configuration.  Particularly how the versatec prints
the apl listings and how it handles some of the special facilities of apl.
I am not an apl programmer.  Could anyone with this experience respond by
mail?  I will summarize the information obtained after the traffic dies
down(if any?).

I am looking for either 1) better documentation, or 2) the new release
of Berkeley fortran '77.  I am getting the error message about overlapping
initialization, in a 5000 line fortran program I am installing.  Apparently
it is coming from the second pass of the compiler, for there isn't any line
number given.  I can only guess at the meaning of the diagnostic.  Any info
would be appreciatted.  Ditto above for responses through mail.
